Building surveys

Content blocks

Show text, notices or consent checkboxes without asking a question.

A Content Node presents instructions or background between questions. It has no ordinary question answer, but can include notices and acknowledgement checkboxes.

Add the block

Open + → Content Node and place it where the information is needed.

Write the message

Set Title and Description in Content. Use the field editor for formatted text, links or a table.

Add acknowledgements if needed

Use Notices for information and Checkboxes for an acknowledgement. Mark a checkbox Required only when it must be checked to continue.

For example, introduce a new task before showing its questions. Use a Section when those questions should form a group.

Preview the block, check its links and try continuing with any required checkbox unchecked. Keep lengthy background information behind a clear link so the survey remains easy to read.
