Saving your work

Understand autosave, connection status and recovery.

Lensym saves draft edits automatically. Watch the save indicator in the editor header before closing the tab, especially after several changes or a connection interruption.

When saving takes longer

Keep the editor open while changes are pending. Check your connection and wait for the saved state. If an error persists, avoid refreshing away from unsaved text: copy important wording somewhere safe and contact support with the steps that led to the problem.

Live collaboration also depends on the collaboration connection. Presence avatars show who is connected, and Undo is disabled while live collaboration is active. Do not use another tab's old state as proof that your latest change was saved.

Autosave is not version history

Undo covers recent editor changes; it is not a permanent history of every saved revision. Publishing locks questions, and restoring an archived survey has consequences for its share link.

After a disruptive edit, preview the survey and recheck validation before publishing.
