What we store about respondents
Lensym records answers, not identities.
Lensym stores survey answers, progress through the survey and timing information. Response records do not include an IP address or a browser fingerprint.
That does not make every survey anonymous. A name, email address, phone number, or identifying free-text answer is personal information if you ask respondents to provide it. Design your questions and explain your data use accordingly.
A respondent’s browser also receives a cookie containing an opaque token so they can resume their response. It does not contain their answers. See resuming a response.
See the Privacy Policy for the wider service’s data handling; this page describes survey-response records, not all account, security or hosting data.
