Moving nodes
Reorder by dragging, or use the context menu in the graph editor.
Move a question by dragging its body and dropping at the position indicator. This changes the survey order; in graph mode, it does not give the node a free position on the canvas.
In the list editor
Drag before or after another node. Moving near the edge of the list scrolls it. To put a question inside a section, drop into an empty section or beside one of its existing children.
In the graph editor
Drag the node body to reorder it along the survey path. The graph then lays itself out automatically. The right-click menu also has move commands for the start, previous position, next position and end.
Recheck references after moving a question
A question that used to come earlier may now come later. Review pipes and conditions that depend on its answer, then validate and preview the survey.
Dragging the branch handle creates a conditional path; it does not reorder the node. See adding branches.
- Use the move commands to place the selected question earlier or later in the survey.
